For Virus Removal Virus Protection Is Essential

November 25, 2009

There are many subtle signs of a computer virus that a casual computer user may not even notice at first. Some of those subtle signs can be like the computer starting to freeze up for no apparent reason or the screen appearing to blink all of a sudden. For many computer users these small clues can go undiscovered and the next thing they know the computer has locked up on them or is doing bizarre things.

Programs closing without being prompted, screens popping up stating a specific removal virus program must be purchased to remove the virus they are saying the computer has and other bizarre and unspecified problems are just a few examples that may happen when a virus truly is infecting the computer. Some viruses are able to take control of the desktop locking the user out and taking away the control. Viruses of this nature can be very difficult to identify and even harder to remove.

Removal virus programs are available that can alert the user the virus has found its way on the computer and in addition to removal virus protection programs are recommended to prevent them getting on in the first place. Much of the time a new or refurbished computer when purchased will have a trial period for a computer security protection program giving the purchaser an opportunity to try out the software program and to realize the importance of having one.

Leaving a computer vulnerable to the internet and its capacity to pass viruses on to other computers undetected can destroy the computer and leave the owner wondering what happened. Protect your interest when getting a computer and make sure it has the same assurance of protection one would want for their automobile especially if running a business.

Removal Virus- Signs you May Have a Virus & What to Do

November 17, 2009

Nobody likes it when a computer is infected with a virus. If you are not the most astute of computer users and do not always know when you have a virus, that is okay, this article will give you a few examples of when you may have a virus and need to run a virus check.

Most of the time, signs of a virus can be detected by the way your computer is behaving. For example, if your computer keeps crashing for no reason then that could be a sign that have a virus on your computer and you need to run a removal virus. Another sign that you have a virus is if your programs start running really slowly out of the blue. Do not get me wrong, if your computer runs slowly it may be due to having to many programs running, but if you have like one or two running and your computer is still running slow, then chances are you may have a virus. The damage to your computer depends on the virus type.

If you do have a virus, then you will want to get a virus removal tool or if worse comes to worse, delete everything on your computer, also known as reformatting, and reinstall everything. You could also take your computer to a specialized computer store and have them run a removal virus software, this usually does cost money, so it is really easier if you remove the virus on your own.

Just make sure you have everything backed up in case you do have a virus. That way if you have to reformat you will have everything already saved and won’t have to worry about scrambling to get everything saved while your computer is running slowly. Removal virus software is available at most stores that sell electronics or you can purchase one online.
